Hi Beoworlders, I have a Beomaster 5000 (silver stackable unit) that has been diagnosed with a faulty computer. Does anyone have one one lying around that they'd like to sell me??? Thanks in advance, Jonathan

Try switching the cables from one speker to the other. If the hum is present on the other speaker, then it's your cables. If the hum remains on the original speaker then you'll have to take it to service... sounds like cables though

yep, the IR commands are the same all the way through until now

I would consider a Beomaster 6500 or 7000. The reason for this is that they are a bit more flexible. You can use passive or active speakers, so if you decide to upgrade to Beolabs you'll be ready..
