  • Re: Beomaster 7000 amplifier problem

The relais unit is part of the preamp... but probably this part can be repaired, there are not too much components on it. Probably some wires are gone... The amp is powered by the transistors BDV64 and BDV65. Replace them. Replace also the damaged resistors. Then try it again ;)

  • Re: Beomaster 7000 amplifier problem

Wow, that looks really bad, amp and preamp are gone... Overvoltage, maybe somebody hooked the amp output directly to 220 volt line... No fun, last month i had a pair of BL5000 amps here for repair. The owner had connected the output of the amp directly to the 220V power line (instead to a second speaker set...) and switched on the light... wow, that

  • Re: Beomaster 7000 amplifier problem

Yes... There is a 3-pin cable between amplifier and the preamp... green, yellow and some other colour, maybe brown. Disconnect it from the preamp. If the humming continues, it's the amp. If not, then its the preamp. You could also connect a signal source to this cable, but use only a very low level or you blow the speakers. If both channels work

  • Re: Penta MK1

  • Re: Beolink 7000 keeps switching on and off

Hmmm, then it cant be the sensor. There are 2 switches on the backside at the lower end of the BL7000. These switches are responsible for the motor control. What happens, if you put it on a desk, will it move? And if you put it on the desk with a small distance that these switches are not activated? Will it switch off? What voltage can you measure on

  • Re: beogram 6500

  • Re: Workshop MX3500 MX5500 How to repair and test this TV , common faults

Unsolder L5, repair it with epoxy glue or replace it. This fault is quite common, i had already several of these defects. The reason are vibrations and a cold spot after this long time. Use also some epoxy to fix L5 on the board. Replace also C5 6.8nF 630V and the BUT12. C5 becomes bad and the switching frequency becomes higher and higher until BUT12

  • Re: mx1500

The capacity is no problem, 160mAh or 180mAh, there is no difference. Have you checked the voltage, does it really charge and has 2.4V ? Im not quite sure, but there were also B&O tv's with 3.6V... i dont have right now the sm for the MX1500.
