Oh don't get me wrong. I too hate bright leds at night and prefer the softest of glow from a readout. The ceiling projection suits me as the figures are massive (about 14cm in height) but very gentle and do not reflect a glow in the room. I was hoping that the Beotime would as Jaff says run on a very low backlight - just enough to see it in the
