Thanks for this. Would I need to do anything to the Beo 4 remote or would it automatically operate the 3500? Noddyish I know, but just wondering how the remote distinguishes between the TV (and the BLs attached to it) and the 3500 (which would possibly be within range of the TV) Thank you.

I am going to be buying a used 3500 anyway and I do not think it will have a powerlink output on it - I think I read somewhere that they only recently had the powerlink connection. So this leaves me with Materlink anyway, and from what you are saying, this will be a whole lot better. Cheers for putting me on track! Just one point

Noddy is back I'm afraid... 1. Am I right in thinking that I can connect a Bl3500 to a music system with just the powerlink cable (rather than using Masterlink)? I know that I will not then have independent control of the unit but that is not needed in my case. 2. I have my Ouverture connected to my Beovision 32 and I have a spare speaker/powerlink

The Beovision has the Dolbyboard with two BL6000s connected to it (which work perfectly well). Do I need to do anything to enable the other sockets? The BL6000s are set as front speakers. I do not have rears. The TV is masterlinked to the Ouverture. I have also tried attaching the Passive to the free socket on the 'end' BL6000 (they are daisy

Just spoken to someone who says that I need to Masterlink the Passive as that is the only way to connect it... Is that right? I thought Powerlink worked too. Thanks.

Have fiddled around for ages connecting it to different powerlink sockets on the TV, to the final BL6000 in the daisy link chain, but still the red light stays on. Have tried a different powerlink cable and still the same problem. I get the feeling it is something simple. Do I need to alter anything on the Speaker/Sound settings on the TV? Should it
