I have a pair of Beovox 1702s in Rosewood for sale. The veneer is beautifully figured and apart from a very slight bang to the alluminium trim that you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for it, are cosmetically excellent - nearly mint in fact. The surrounds to the bass/mid-range units are rubber so no foam rot to worry about. From a power
You've not been taking the tablets again!!
Peter, I have, but I may need a stronger dose now! Like all viruses, the Beovirus can mutate and the current strain (MC120.2) is particulary virulent. I've heard John's speakers and, after all, I need something to put on the 6017s I have sitting unused in
Happy days. My delightful flute arrived this morning. Well done Kevin - hope you enjoy the Beotime. How's the search for a CDX going? Cleve

Anyway, the Beomaster 6000 Quad + Commander, Beogram 4002 and MC120.2s are off on eBay tomorrow night. Will post a link on here in due course.
John, You have a PM!!! Cleve
The BG 1000 was my first ever B&O puchase back in 1969, long gone.
It was my first B&O purchase as well - at least I think it was a BG1000 rather than a 1001. Bought in early 1971 with an SP14. And the first record I played on it, I still have - Paul Desmond's "From the hot afternoon"

I know there are few of us still using cassettes, but this recent sale on ebay shows just how little interest there is in the medium. Arguably one of the best cassette decks ever produced, and certainly, along with the original BC5000, B&Os best, it sold for a sum I would have paid for the box! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item
I have seen more M100's than MS150's tbh. I am sure they get hauled out the loft by relatives who are not aware there are a pair of stands sitting next to them, or elsewhere.
Not sure I could get a pair of M100s into my loft without either damaging me, or, for that matter, the loft! Cleve
Well, after posting last week that these are like hen's teeth, I spotted these 3 hours before the auction ended and was very sorely tempted to bid....however SWMBO might have drawn the line at having 2 pairs in the house
If MS150s on ebay are as rare as hen's teeth, then how rare are M100s? Well, like

I think the Beomaster 4400 is probably the best combination of sound and build quality of any of the B&O receivers that I have owned or heard and is almost contemporary with the BG4000. I love my 4400 and listen to it above all others now, even my BM 8000-based system. Tim Jarman calls it the 'audiophile's choice' from the Beomasters
There are not THAT many Beovox 1702's still around. When was the last time you saw a pair ?
I bought a pair to use with the ambiophonics facility of my BM 4400 - not totally successfully as it turns out, so I tested them for a while as main speakers, using them on a shelf and backed against the wall. I like
