As suggested in the title, just a quick easy question regarding Beosytem amps i.e. Beomaster 5500, 6500 ............... Can any of the Beomasters be operated without remote control (Beolink 1000) Do they have "flip down" front panels - so volume, bass, treble etc can be adjusted.

I've just noticed whilst playing a good old cassette that the Beocenter isn't producing output on the right side. Swapped a number of cassettes and still no signal, so it's deffo the unit. CD's, Turntable etc all work o.k. - i.e. getting good output from L + R. Is this a common fault? Hope someone can help....................

Is this possible - I'm using a Beocenter 9000 in an upstairs room and would like to know if I could connect an additional pair of speakers to the 9000, place them in a downstairs room but control the primary functions of the 9000 from downstairs? For example, the 9000 is turned on upstairs and i would like to listen to music in my downstairs room

Guy's, My 5500 CD player has started to give me trouble................. In short, it has difficulty reading CD's - I've obviously tried different CD's so it appears to be the deck. Is this a common problem, is there a "fix" available? Hope you can help Steve

Could anyone suggest where I could purchase a replacement belt for a Beocord 5500? I spent quite a while this afternoon figuring out how to remove the broken one - finally "sussed" it out. So I'm pretty keen to replace it. Hope you can help Steve

Most responses to my thread advised contacting dealers and ordering said cable. Sadly having done this I've drawn a big blank. Can anyone supply speakerlink cable directly?

I'm collecting early B&O pieces that require service/repair. Can anyone recommend individuals/centres that carry out repairs/services? I live near Liverpool, so local travel would be very helpful. Hope you can help
