  • Refinish 4002 controls

Has anyone refinished the control "buttons" of a 4002/4004 TT.? The control push-panel is finished in a matte-silver kind of finish. The control surfaces of mine have areas it's worn off of. Phil

  • Re: Beogram 6000: schematics of CD-4 wanted

All the 4002 files here @Beoworld include diagrams for their respective quad circuits. One of them is likely to be identical.

  • Re: BeoBozzo for sure-

Martin-your email-box must now look like a clogged toilet: it will have 13 large files of 4002 pics. Sorry for the blockage. I am looking foward to your response and input. This 4002 seems to have the same syndrome regarding the 33 spd lamp blown/bad D6 diode that Meahem reported, an overheated/overheating 1R1 1W resistor off the power supply, and TR16

Martin it's a 5503, #336134, has swx for quad but no board; it has 4 lrg caps by motor-does that mean it's the early 4002 motor? If you can coach me how to identify and inventory the parts needed I probably could do that. As an aside-why don't all the similar caps in the 8002 get replaced? Phil

  • BeoBozzo for sure-

A week has passed-I just got a DIN adapter and several bulbs to try as the "33" bulb is burned out. Properly connected to my system both cartridges play fine-excellent! And after a little lubing, the arm sevo system is much quieter. All functions seem good. However, if I try putting any new bulb across the 33 circuit, the machine shifts to

  • Re: Beogram Bozzo OR Collector?

I need a female DIN adapter so I pulled the 9pin plug inside and stripped/soldered 3 small nails to a pair of RCA cables and got it going-it lives! both channels. Got a little hum goin on, and I didn't even unlock the transit screws, but she's a keeper!! Whooops-did I say that? Excuse my foolish exuberance-I have a small problem with addictive

  • Beogram Bozzo OR Collector?

Take me out in the back yard and shoot me!! I bought another one-I couldn't help myself-4002/MMC4000, model 5503, $75! Craig's List/4 mi away. It looks quite good, seems to function OK but is a little noisey on arm return. I've downloaded all the manuals from Beoworld but they don't specifically apply to this (5503), they cover 5523

  • Re: 8002: if I only had a brain!

Yes it works, but I scavenged a repaireable 8000 to get it. And the 8000 processor deletes and modifies some of the 8002 functions. Practically not signigicant, but technically a knock-so I bought an 8002 as a parts unit, hoping to get the electronics, and it had water damage which must explain the processor failure in that chassis. Remarkably, if I

  • 8002: if I only had a brain!

I need 8002 circuitboard including the tin "can" mounted on it OR just the can assy OR the 40pin device inside. Also useable would be a can and chip from an 8000 or 6006. Phil Hunt, Long Valley, NJ, USA 973 584 0161

  • Re: Beogram RX2 problem

To be honest it could be cheaper to buy another turntable off ebay. Absolutely! Then you could get a cheaper price because you were having 2 serviced at once.
