In a 5500, there is nothing between the amplifier outputs and the #2 sockets. #1 outputs go through the muting relay, and they can be switched on & off. So it can't be a configuration or usage issue if the same speakers with the same cables and same plugs work in the same sockets in another Beomaster. There must be something physically wrong
