Hi Die_Bogener I wonder if you may be able to shed a little light on a fault i have on my beovision VCR 28" type 8133. At present it's showing no sign of life at all, i have gone into the fault flow sheets from this sight the fuse on PCB 60 is ok. I am getting a supply current to the smoothing cap "450V"on The Main Power Supply PCB

Hi with reguard to your marking on the end plate it can only be resolved by chemically stripping off the origional anodizing, you then need to get the surface finish to original condition by using a belt sander along the length the item top to bottom with a grit of about 240 till all the surface is uniform its called a brushed finish thee anodizing

Hi spike couldn't help smiling to my self after reading your blog about the glass panel firstly "PUT THE SCALPEL AWAY!!! their is a far simpler and kinder way to strip off the old glue residue. if you follow the instructions you can recover from your night mare! OK Firstly you need to lay hold of some white spirit only white spirit i cant guarantee

Hi Martin thanks for a really quick reply! i am using passive speakers but the popping is only evident on the CD every other function is working fine. I should also add the popping is also present on headphones rh channel (B&O A8s). thats about it as far as i can get with fault description. I know its the CD player as i have a CDX iv' e run

Can anyone out there help me with a problem i have with my beosystem 3500, the beogram cd3500 is currently playing as it should reading tracks, skipping through tracks etc fine, BUT! playback is accompanied by a curious random popping on the RH channel its seems more prominent on bass passages, also i notice when the system is switched off i get a popping
