Hi: I didn't know that either and I pride myself on verbosity. Pro tempore is one that I love using (for the time being). Thanks Graham

Hi: To be honest, it is most likely that it will be too expensive to repair your TV unless it is a very simple repair. Your best bet is to scour eBay for a replacement television of the same model. You can probably pick these up for about £50 or less. Obviously as these sets are quite old you are most likely to be faced with a simillar problem

Thanks, I have connected the printer and it works really well. I know I am using a sledge hammer to crack a walnut as I have a full tower case sitting in my dining room with a printer on top of it (I could have bought a net drive and a printer for a neater solution) but I built this with some spare parts and 100 pounds or less, and I think it will have

Hi: Problem solved - I worked out that it was likely a Vista - XP comms issue and it was. I booted my old P4 machine in my room and found my internet dongle (this machine runs XP family). I then booted the server which runs XP pro and as I had done all the drive sharing things before it worked automatically. This really, really annoys me, I knew I had

Hi all: This problem is still haunting me and as it is half term I would really like to get this sorted so I can use the server as I intended. The thing is, having no direct experience with them myself I rely on forums to gain information on them. I have been told that they need calibrating and the guns need

Hi: I think you experienced the same problem I did but in fact it isn't actually a problem. You need to put the screen into the desired off position then press 0 followed by OK/Go You then need to move it to where you want it when on and press 1 followed by OK/Go. I think, this is based on my memory of how to do it. Thanks Graham

That was very helpful. Thanks Graham

Hi all: Don't know if I am supposed to ask such questions on here but I guess it can be removed if not. Does anyone have or know where I can either purchase cheaply or have for free a leather chesterfield armchair or (preferably) a wing chair - I am due to start back at uni son and would like one to "think" in. Thanks Graham

You jest but I love eight tracks. Don't know why, just think they are good.
