I changed my 160GB hard drive to a 320 GB five months ago, everything still working perfectly. Approach: 1) Demounting 160 GB hard drive (3,5 ’’) from Beomedia1 2) Fitting the 160 GB hard drive into an external USB hard drive storage 3) Using the software “Acronis True Image Home 2009” to get

The "expander" made by B&O has two colours. Silver and Gold. I don't remember which one is for STB and which one for DVD, but if you press DVD the IR codes go only to one of both, and if you press V.AUX the IR codes go to the another one. I bet there is no way to send the codes to both sources. This happens, at least, with the BV Avant

Hi Pim You can use a PUC "expander". I don't know it's correct name, but is a object that converts one PUC in two. Is a piece like this:

You will need the IR cable, even if you have configured your Beo5 via config. tool. I guess you hace added the Humax xml included in the config tool. This is a not third party xml, it's a B&O xml to use with the PUC.
Ok, I will try it out. Hopefully it works with my config tool v2.20 :-) Thomas
Hi Thomas You can download the new version from here Regards

Hi Spiros If you know how to do it using your Beo5 without a macro, step by step, there is a trick to create a macro very easily: Go to View tab and do all the steps you need to do what you want. Keep the commands you will see in the window and go to Edit tab, create a new button and add all those IR commands you have done before. The macro should work
Problem solved! My dealer changed the power supply of BM1 and it works again. yippie!
Maybe is not the fault, but there is a known issue with the power suply. My Beomedia began to do strange things. I changed the power suply and it worked fine again. Bear in mind it has to be a good power suply, 12 V and 4 A minimum. Good luck

Just came from my Guinness day, and I got a mail from a friend. Can't believe it, but it's true. Lee, can the Prize Draw be on friday every month? Thank you everybody for your nice words. I guess my belly won't let me to play golf, but I will keep my prize like a treasure Cheers

Hi Take a look at this thread I have a BV7 and a Beomedia1, and in my Beo5 screen there is N.Music and N.Radio as sources, the same as DTV or DVD. They are direct buttons, I don't need to select PC first. But, when I press N.Music, I have a blind navigation, because my TV doesn't turn on. Regards
