I can hardly believe the arrogance in some of the posts above. The Chinese are very capable craftsmen, in fact it's hard to find such quality manuacturing in Europe these days. And yes, cheap too. Because they get no vacation, and are willing to work hard for little money. Manufacturing in China "easily outperformes" their counterparts

Why should the markII beolab 4000 sound worse than the mark I? Compared to the recent make-over of the beolab 6000 -> 6002 the sound is descibed as improved. Same sort of make-over isn't it?

I use a CD7000 and a master 7000 myself, especially the beogram is a superb cd-player. Master 7000 is allrigth too. Get it repaired.

Don't want to spoil your party, but when I read a new posting that says "Great news" in written in capitals I expect some great inside news about B&o, not a message like this.

Users of the Beosound 5, what kind of audiofile format do you use? There're lots of formats, and as we're interested in high-end audio, I presume everyone uses lossless formats? B&o is in a different league; if some people here like it or not, the name B&o belongs in the top of the market, like Cartier, Aston Martin, to name a few. In fact it has no direct competitors. B&o

Has anyone experienced the iPhone as a remote control? Is that a serious alternative for the beautifull B&o remotes? Also saw a Samsung TV with a remote on which you can watch the TV programme, even when you're walking to another room. Seems that the once unique old Beolink/two-way remote controls are quickly taken-over by other manufacturers

The beolab 3 is a little wonder, hard to believe so much sound can be heard from such a small speaker. The sound is very transparant, with your eyes closed, it's difficult to tell the exact location of the speaker. Much detail, good bass too. Beolab 8000 sound beautifull/smooth but completely different, an "older" sound, like we're
