  • Re: Problem Beo5 connect with pc

B&O have released a software patch today for the Beo5 config tool - one area the patch focuses on is the connections issues with PCs. It also improves handling logos and adds some new DVD controllers and STBs. Martin

  • Re: BEO5 configuration software

Ah, yes I thought that would be causing some of the issues. But actually - I like having the Light function on some of my menus, because it keeps everything on the one screen. Whilst it may be illogical to the software, it makes perfect sense to me! Especially since it's not the software that needs to teach my wife how to use the new remote! Thanks

  • Re: Beo5 - where are we?

Karel Uyttendaele: Bingo: Well, I am really shocked by this all and I suppose that most of the dealers are not happy with this bad working unit. People have to come back to them over and over again to get it working properly. I don 't understand that B&O did not wait a little longer to launch it when the product and software was really finished

  • Re: BeoSystem 3, what is it needed for? (and Sky HD?)

Hi, The BeoSystem 3 carries all the system processors (sound, picture and control such as MasterLink) that make the B&O experience so great. Buying the Panasonic panel wouldn't give you anything like the kind of performance that the B&O equivalent with BeoSystem 3 would give you. The difference is huge. The way I always used to describe

  • Re: Fixing a "cut" at the surface of the base of Beosound 1 floor stand?

The part is replaceable though your dealer may have difficulty finding the part number as it is not listed under their standard parts system. Tell them to call tech support and get the part number. I changed one of these myself. Thanks, Martin

  • Re: What exactly is a Beolink

Just to add a bit more info for you, MasterLink only needs one cable to each room - it's a single multicore cable than carries audio and control signals from the master products (audio system and main TV) to all of your other rooms, unlike the basic multiroom systems that have two wires per pair of speaker, plus control wires etc etc. Just one single

  • Re: Improvement?

Hi Lasse, I auditioned the BL9's quite extensively with and without the BL2 and I would definately say that if you like your BL2 now, you should definately keep it as it does make a noticeable difference to the depth of the BL9's. Describing your sound as 'thunderous' would definately suggest to me that the BL2 is making you happy! So

  • Re: BeoMedia setup for Beo5 - pictures

Incidentally, Balou posted a question about large images on Beo5 - when you see my Beo5 in the flesh - the BeoMedia logo I created is actually about four times the size of the one shown in the above picture - these pictures are screen dumps from the software tool and show the logos to be small. As I said, in real life they are much bigger, but you need
