Hello, Well I'm not too sure about that. I've got two Beogram 6006/8000 (same lid then) and using the same method , one came out crystal clear and the other one, no matter what, came out nicely polished too but not completely clear. I made sure the underside was clean and shiny as well of course! Different batches
I use a Micro-Mesh kit bought on eBay Full instructions provided and they work!
Will that also restore the lid to complete clarity? I tried a polish attempt at my 2000 lid, first with a very llight, but course sanding at 240 grit (to remove some deep surface scratches), and progressively working my way up
In the first Fantastic 4 film they used an Earset 1 with the cables cut off as an intercom. It is when they are on the space station. Craig
If my eyes didn't deceive me, the Earset 1 was used (modified) as Jack Harkness' headset on the first season of Torchwood. BS9000 appearances make quite a long list

Now that I have my Beosystem 2000 complete again (a replacement cartridge for the Gram is on the way), I am starting to think prettyness -- I want this thing to look almost factory-new and ship-shape. The biggest problem I'm having on the Jensen gear is the enormous amount of small surface scratches that have accumulated on the equipment over the

So still dont understand why I'd get crackling when itunes volume is turned up to full.
I've had this problem numerous times with artists and laptops being used on stage. In those
Why not look for a Philips CD104 - same machine in an electrical sense. Much easier and cheaper to find. The CDX is a 104 in a 100 type set up.
Are the mechanical parts (except from the outside trim) interchangeable as well?

Unexpectedly got my hands on a Beogram 2000 today. Went to get a Beocord, and found a spare, mechanically perfect, Beogram along with it for a whopping 25 euros! I still need a new MMC4, since the stylus on this one is completely nackered.
-
Now press PLAY!
You might want to put the stylus back first at this stage though, otherwise, you'll have a very quiet evening!
I can supply new belts and motor if that's any help to you or the next owner. Martin
Great offer, although I already sourced a replacement for my Beocord, the next owner may benefit from it. I'll see if I can solder pin headers to the boards for easy servicing and replacement in the future, as opposed
