"older" BeoVisions do not recognize the PC command I also used to use the PC command, but I now use DVD2 (V.TAPE2) and I can watch my PC (connected to the scart) in link rooms.

You've changed the AUDIO to one-way, but is VIDEO maybe still in two-way? If it is then it tries to find two-way video components. Change the VIDEO also to one-way if you don't have two-way video components. [panel] [setup] [system] [compnts] [video] [store]

You can use the DVD2 with an MX7000, but they don't sell it anymore.

[panel] [setup] [system] [compnts] [audio] [store] The Beolink 7000 will try to make contact with two-way components, but can't and will automatically go into one-way mode.

Daniel: My LX 5500 shows: SOFTWARE VERSION 2.2 S A: 2064 B: C: 2064 can´t be the hours. She (yes, it's a female) is 17 years old and I promise we watch more TV then 20 minutes a day. If I'm correct A = hours (x10) B = hours (x10) link usage C = number of days the TV has been on So your TV has 2064 x 10 = 20640 hours of usage

I own a LX4500 and I can see the hours by pressing the Beolink1000 without the [LIGHT] button: [SHIFT] [TEXT] [0] [0] [PLAY] the Beolink1000 with [LIGHT] button: [MENU] [0] [0] [PLAY]

That's not possible. If you receive the Tv-signal from a Set-top-box (STB), you should change the output from the STB to 16:9 LetterBox so that the STB sends the picture to the LX4500 with the black bars.
