In my opinion, neither of these speakers are true hi-fi. The CX100 does not have much bass [...] Nice detail [...] Also gives a nice stereo image. The BL6000 [...] Not so impressed either with detail or bass reproduction
Thanks Peter, this is helpful.
one should listen to the speakers

Dear all, I have quick question for the ones who owned/listened to both speakers: how would a pair of Beovox CX100 (driven by a decent amp) compare to a pair of Beolab 6000? In terms of detail, warmth and bass? Thanks and regards, js

Thank you for your input. What if I rephrase the question as: how would the value of an excellent Beomaster 3000(-2) compare to that of a Beolab 5000, Beomaster 4400 or Beomaster 8000? In terms or rarity and desirability?

Dear all, Could you please provide me with an indication of what a vintage Beomaster 3000-2 in very good condition would be worth today? Many thanks in advance. Kindest regards, Jean-Sebastien

Dear all, could you please let me know what the contents/concept differences are between the two books: From Spark to Icon and Crowood Collectors Series? Thanks, js

Leslie, are the alu panels still available? Thanks.

I think the BL4000 is advertised as being 32cm high. As I wonder whether a BL4000 could be placed in a 32cm high bookshelf, could one of you be so kind and measure one of his own BL4000 and let me know whether it is exactly 32cm high or just a few millimeters shorter than that. Many thanks, js
