About LED backlight with local dimming system; it seems that there are problem with the technology as well since images with grey shades tends to turn black and images with colour section with weak light tends to fade to grey. Has been reported on numerous LED tv and reported in many other forums.

Quick question; what is the supported HDMI deep color mode for the BV10-40; 8 bit or 12 bit?

How do you check the BV10 software version and regarding the Samsung BD; where do one find instruction on how to operate the unit using the Beo4? I figured out start stop, play and using the color buttons; but guessing that I'm missing a few...

I did go for the Samsung BD-C6500 and going to test it bit more tonight. The setup is that the C6500 unit is connected to the BV10 via PUC cable and seems to work fine; but currently trying to find some proper instruction on the Beo 4 "key layout" on how to fully make use of the BD-C6500 unit. Found this posting about the STB controls.
