Looking for some help again... I'd like to include BeoSound 8 in Beo5, in the same Zone where my BeoVision 10 is. However, when I add the device in the Config Tool, the software wants to create another Zone for BeoSound 8. Since BeoSound 8 is at the moment the only B&O audio product in the same room as BeoVision 10, I'd like them to operate

Thanks for the tip and advice, Elmar. Actually I got the problem solved, and it was a strange one: My Mac Mini has 4 USB ports, 3 of which were used by external hard drives. I connected the Beo5 to the 4th available port. However, for some reason, under Parallels, Vista reserves 2 USB ports for the Mac's built-in features: 1 for bluetooth and 1

I am using the Config Tool version 3.87 on a freshly installed Mac (Snow Leopard), under Parallels Desktop 6 and Windows Vista Home Premium. There is no available Beo5 configuration saved on the new Mac, so I need to start from scratch. The Config Tool is working okay, but for some reason it cannot connect to Beo5. The software works in "unconnected
I don't like it for the simple reason that they couldn't come up with their own design. Its been done already by a much better company. Can't stand boring copy copycats!
My sentiments exactly. If I needed a portable radio, I would buy BeoSound 3 over this copy. However -- and not wanting to go into

This design "borrows" heavily from BeoSound 3: http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/31/revo-k2-is-a-mountainous-slab-of-music-blasting-aluminum/ I wonder what B&O thinks about it?

What can BS5 with BM5 do, that encore cannot or other way around?
see attached pdf
Hi Vienna, I am considering the purchase of Beosound 5 Encore, but noticed in the PDF that two-way communication is not possible with Beo6 remote. Does this mean that Album Cover Art and

Amusingly enough, it's been reported that with iOS 4.3.1, which was out last Friday, March 25th, audio "pops" and "clicks" occur again with some Audio Docks w/ iPhones. It appears that there is no consistency in this, i.e. someone with a certain Audio Dock experience it, while others with the same dock do not. I haven't updated
This from another site (beocentral) - my bolding :
In the earlier models one of the woofers was connected to the bass amplifier output via a simple passive filter so that it functioned as a midrange driver . This made the early Beolab 8000 a 3-way design with an unusual “hybrid passive-active”

Did you upgrade to iOS 4.3 on your iPhone? I did, and the popping noises started to happen, irregularly but very often on all tracks. No such problem with Beosound 8 before the upgrade to iOS 4.3 on my iPhone 4. Strangely, my iPad upgraded to the new iOS 4.3 did not have the same problem with Beosound 8. I upgraded both iPhone and iPad right away when
