Hi Peter, thanks for the help, have you ever tried them set up this way? I guess that the sound would be similar to the Bose Acoustimass 5 units without the sub running. Andrew

I am still thinkng about adding a pair of the 2500 cubes to my system. Is it tru that when they are connected, the tweeters on the 5000's are bye passed? If this is true it seems to be a shame to have all these tweeters not doing anything; does anyone know if there is a way to conect the 2500's independantly and then have all tweeters on the

  • Re: Beocord 7000 screeches

The sound seems to have gone away. Somehow I can't belive that it's worn out, as the unit has not seen more than twenty hours of usage. If it happens again, i'll consider opening it up a look for some lubrication points. Thanks Andrew

  • Beocord 7000 screeches

Hi, My Beocord 7000 plays and records wonderfully. After about two hours of playing (or just being on), there is suddenly a loud screeching noise coming from the deck. Playing does not seem to be affected and the only way to get rid of the sound is to shut the unit down. Even then the sound continues for a few seconds afterwards All functiosn seem to

  • Beomaster 7000 Buzz

I have a beosystem 7000 (unfortunatly without the Beogram) which has been running flawlessly. Recently I have noticed a buzzing sound coming from the Beomaster. This can only be heard when you place your ear up close to the unit, this sound does not come through to the speakers. Does any one have the same problem, and can I replace some components easily

It's called a Pinnacle soundbridge M1001 Interesting product, but not yet mature for someone who does not alwayse want to reboot and look for passwords. I'm bringing it back to the store tomorrow and will now contemplate the MAC TV Andrew

  • Beomaster 7000 input requirements

I am trying to hook up a third party WiFi unit to AUX input of the 7000. When I play the unit, the volume is quite low. Does anyone know what the input requiremnets are in "volts peak- to- peak" Andrew

  • Re: RCA to Din converter

I now have sound although the volume needs to be turned way up. The volume output on the soundbridge is at max, so I^m not sure what's causing the low output. I'll try to select the Aux input using shift radio (instead of SAT, seems to also work), althoug it should not really make a difference as AUX is apprearing on the display. Andrew
