I am sorry but it disturbs me that people who do not have personal experience comment on issues like this. It is always hearsay to me. Based on my personal >20 years experience (and increasing) about BC9000 I would say that BV5000s are really excellent, their looks is still up to date, RL 60.2.s are also excellent (depending on installation), BV

lausvi: Mico: Theoretically a damage could be possible but I would doubt that in practise. . On what basis this damage could occur? I guess the BC is new enough to have some degree of protection anyway? (I have just installed the BC to a better place in the livingroom to show it's full glory) The S75s are really a lovely pair of speakers. These

Theoretically a damage could be possible but I would doubt that in practise. In my current BC9000 setup I have been using a pair of CX100's for two years without any harm either to the speakers or the BC.

Hi all, does anybody have a complete list of PUC operable devices for the BS3? Is it available online? I am specially interested in DVD- and Blu-Ray players/recorders.

So long Datalink? What a pitty, I would have wanted to hook up different Datalink enabled sources to the audio master. That would have solved the CD and Ipod issue as well. Personally I will keep buying CDs as long as they are available - new or second hand ie a long time. BS5 seems to be a digital curiosity instead of a full audio system. I never use

Yes you may. But it is not recommended. And I have personal experience although with BC9000. The amplifier protects itself from potential overload. Especially in a multiroom MCL-system the actual impedance is very low even with 8 ohm speakers. This was measured ages ago in a local techical magazine.

One for me as well! It looks me that new approach to music has been implemented with the black screen and aluminium wheel. Just can't wait for November or time to have one in my home setup. Interoperability with my current link setup remains open but I rely on B&O. With that they have not let me down in the past, hopefully this is the case also

I am thinking of updating my current non B&O PDP with a full HD panel. The looks and performance of the rounded BV4 panel does not satisfy me enough to justify the price. Has anybody successfully integrated a PZ series Panasonic with the BS3 (especially the latest PZ800)? Does the autocontrast work with the PZ series PDPs? Or is the RS232 integration

Can't comment on the comparison. I've had the 5000's from new and am very satisfied with the sound. Regarding height: They were originally designed to have 85 cm cable cover below the speakers (optional part from B&O). That way you can calculate the installation height.

I am using the Converter to hook the BeoSystem 3 to the MCL network (via an MCL2AV). However, the BS3 is not my audio master. If you decide to purchase a B&O video system you will find use for that.
