If any North West based Beoworlders would like to attend a recording of Mastermind next Wed ( July 15th ) then please call me on 0161 832 6159 asap. I have four tickets available - ideally the same person will take all four. If not spoken for by Monday AM, these will be returned to the bbc - I can't go as originally planned. Please only ask for

Hi Peter - it sounds like you had a worthwhile and enjoyable trip. I have to say that along with many others here your interest in/devotion to the B&O brand puts many who actually work in the distribution to shame ! Your new kit looks great - Frede seems to be an audio alchemist. I recently got a 3 x LP triple gatefold 180gm version of Chris Woods

It was a vintage year, for many reasons. Saw some truly great performances - 3 Daft Monkeys, Springsteen, THe King Blues, Steve Knightley and (really) Status Quo being noteable... Watching Neil Young sing Mansion on the Hill, hand in hand with Emily (sort of) singing along, was a true "moment". The rest of his set was also amazing. My goosebumps

"Come to think of it you could write a book on this subject. You could even call it........ an "Instruction book" " Oi - You stole my joke !!!! And.............. do you remember a phone call a few years ago - when a very polite lady wondered what was behind the "little door" she had just noticed under her TV screen. This

Just loaded 9000 with CD's from Glastonbury artists I enjoyed this year... Neil Young, 3 Daft Monkeys, Bruce Springesteen, Steve Knightley, Seth Lakeman and Nick Cave are now on random, whilst I clean my camping stuff. This was my 14th year - and (as always ! ) the best yet. Neil Young is a total legend - I waited 30 years to see him - and it was

Great - thanks. I suppose I should know that !!!!!! The tingle is only there when plugged in - some Beolabs do it too - Lab 6000 in particular. Nothing to worry about, or so I'm told.

[quote user="joeyboygolf"] I agree with you regarding the fact that the 9000 is a superb product but I fail to hear the marked and significant sonic upgrade over a Beosound 3000. I think you are hearing with your eyes! To my ears, the B&O CD players from the 9500 onwards are all much of a muchness and sonic improvements are due to the

Lee - your right - with the possible exception of the Avant no product in recent times sums up B&O better than a BeoSound 9000. I have a white 9000 that replaced a Bsnd3000 - and quite apart from always wanting one, it was a marked and significant sonic upgrade as well. A superb product. Back on topic - Denmark have just released preview images

Steve, Good post - I'm sure you will enjoy Bsnd 3 even more a time goes on. I've used one since 96, and it has been away camping several times as well as getting used an an almost daily basis in and around the house. I also take it out and about when doing first fix Beolink cabling jobs in houses ( like a builders DeWalt - only better ! ) In
