I've just purchased a second hand Beosound 3 and have been trying to set up the time without success. The instruction manual says to hold down Stand by in stand by mode then change the numbers with the up/down arrows. On doing this the 4 line appear but I am not able to see/change any number. Any suggestion would be much appreciated Thanks

My first B&O was an Ouverture with a pair of beolab 2500 bought in Italy that I brought to the UK years later. It was quite an event as a hand luggage! Still with me with a pair of beolab 6000 instead plus many other Bang & Olufsen products.
