aweicc: I just tried that, I go into "other" and pick ipod remote, still can't control it with Beo4 or 5. I also have appletv with BV7 III It is now very clear that, despite the detailed descriptions posted herein, a few of us can and others can't control the Apple TV with B&Os remote controls (neither Beo5 nor Beo4). Could there

kjeld2: Sebastien: Yes, I'm now able to control the appleTV using the Beo4 directly. I'm NOT using the Lintronic box. And YES, fast scroll works. Kjeld, What can I say ... congratulations!! But - as you might have noticed - we are a few unlucky fellows with no beo4-AppleTV-luck. I have followed every advice given in this community, had B&O

  • Re: Beo 4 and apple remote

Hi Sebastien I have had all the newest PUC-software (iPod Remote, iPod Dock and Apple Remote) installed in my BV7-40 Mark III. Neither works. The Beo servicepeople have no idea. They have tried to get some help from Denmark but with no success. Suprisingly some people here claim that they have been able to control the Apple TV with Beo4. No one has

  • Re: Can't connect Beo4 to AppleTV

Beo serviceman was here again - this time also the iPod Remote software was installed, but still it is not possible to control the AppleTV with Beo4. Those of you that succeded must have done something very special. Could there be differences in BV7-40 Mark III in US versus Europe that could explain these problems? /M

  • Re: Now when the war is over ...

Bingo: Because a Blu-ray player can also play DVD discs and HD-DVD has lost the battle, there is no reason for B&O anymore to wait :-) Please give them a call and tell them They are not known for taking up new technology too fast

  • Now when the war is over ...

... and Blue Ray is the winner I'd like to add a Blue Ray player to my setup ( BV7 Mark III ). Of course I want to control it with my Beo4 . This is Prio One!! Which player should I buy? For a while I was thinking of the Playstation III but I'm not into videogaming (at least not yet ;-) so maybe this is just an extra lot of money. And naturally

  • Re: Soundproof's Guide for using iPhone or iPod Touch as a remote!

Soundproof!! Thanx for an absolutely fantastic posting! I have lately been trying to control my AppleTV via the Beo4 (without much luck), but I see now that there maybe other, much more exciting possibilities. I was about to buy a Beo5 but I guess those days have passed. I have a few questions (and probably will have many more in the future ;-) 1) Will

  • Re: Can't connect Beo4 to AppleTV

I fully agree "Connecting AppleTV to BeoVision 7-40 Mk3 for Dummies" is precisely what I am after right now. After all ... connecting the TV to a Humax HDTV STB was no problem ... but the AppleTV - no way. How hard can it be???
