A possibility would be to connect your MX to the Avant via the Coax out of the Avant. Choose DVD on you Beolab 3500 and set the MX to the link channel. You will hear the soud of the DVD via your 3500 and the video via your MX.

With a tangential arm the arm is moved by a motor. When the arm has a certain angle to the tangens (the right line of the groove) the motor moves the arm a little inwards.

I was indeed not talking of Andy when I referred to some childishness on the forum. Particularly on the Dutch forum there are some people who feel that they should give other members a hard time just because they think differently. Some fun here and there is not what I cald childishness.

Considering the rather childish behaviour of some of the members I would strongly suggest not to implement a rating system for members.

I have a 28" Avant RF and the picture is really perfect. I think you refer to the difference of th BV3 28" chasis that is based on the BV1 while the chasis of the 32" BV3 is based on the Avant chasis.

Don't worry too much about HD. It wil hardly be visible on the small screen TV like the BV1. It is a great TV and the design is unbeated. Go for it. Although I agree it can be picked up for around 1000 euro (600 pounds).
