What do I need to use my BL3s as PC speakers or iMac speakers? Do I need DAC? - Christian

I unfortunately don't know enough about the BV7 to help you with your DVD problem. I have just ordered the TH50PF10 for my BS3 - so haven't received it yet, but I will get it next week....

Hi, The best non B&O screens to use with a BS3 would be the panasonic TH50PF10 - 50" Full HD Plasma. Approx £2000 TH50PH10 - 50" HD Plasma. Approx £1350 TH42PH10 - 42" HD Plasma. Approx £750 All these can be controlled in a similar fashion as the BV4 together with a RS232 cable + DVI -> DVI/HDMI cable. The above

I would also be interested in knowing how a BS3 works with a Pioneer PDP-LX508D. Does SD content look better or worse with a BS3 in between? Does HD content look the same or worse with a BS3 in between? Can a BS3 turn the PDP-LX508D on and off using a RS232? I am not overly fuzzed about it looking better with a BS3, but unfortunately the BS3 has natural

Keith - wouldn't this be something for you? BeoWorlders - what do you think, should we not nominate Keith for one of these jobs? Beoworld would have an agent on the inside - and B&O would start producing products that are up to the latest specs and based on real consumer needs and wants (based on Beoworld's input of course) (though B&O

I would also like to add that I have had several problems with transfer speed consistency using 54mbit and WPA and WPA2, which has been much faster and more stable using no encryption and WEP. I have tried various routers and wireless laptops - all with similar result. I have gone back to the cable jungle and have a 1gbit in place instead - much better

Beofbuff - I am glad you found some sort of solution, but still is it not irritating that the screen has to come on when listening to a digital audio source? There could be a lot of tuning on and off on that account. I still think the right thing would be for B&O to fix this the way it should work - by not turning on the screen if a video source

Yeah Happy B-day Keith? So how many is it? 27 - 28 ?

Is it possible to connect a digital audio source to the SPDIF input on e.g. AV6 and use this without having a video source connected to AV6? I want to connect an Apple Airport Express using a toslink->spdif converter, but I am not sure if I can select e.g. AV6 somehow without having to connect a video source or something else to the AV6. I have read

I am also interested in this setup as I have a BeoSystem 3 and planning to hook it up to a Airport Express using the setup described here, however I notice the issue described in the beginning of this thread, which was: If following this setup where the AE is connected using the SPDIF to the BeoSystem 3, is this selectable via my Beo4 when it receives
