  • Upgrade from beo 4 to beo 5- a little underwhelmed.Advice?

Hi All I have just been kindly loaned for a week a beo 5 remote by my dealer who is a little dismayed that i still have a beo 4 with my present set up! I've had a little play, admittedly it is not configured properly yet as i was in a hurry and the consultant didn't have a lot of time to set it all up. It appears to be set up into a couple of

  • Re: BeoLab 9 - where is the midrange, too much tweeter!

Hello Dave, Greetings from Sydney... I too have a pair of beolab 9's which I bought about two years ago. At one point I was so unhappy with the sound that I purchased a DAC and put the sound quality down to 320bit MP3's and NRADIO. CD was of course better but I still always felt something was missing. The DAC did make a big difference to my

  • Tarnished beolit 1000 buttons

Hello Comrades I have a lovely beolit 1000 radio with oak covers, in excellent condition...... The alloy (?) buttons however are quite tarnished and I appear unable to make much progress on cleaning them up. I have tried 'silvo', methylated spirits and 'metal polish' and nothing really brought them up to clean looking. The metal polish

Hi 29001 here, a lovely example with Oak covers. Almost mint! In the last month or so the alloy buttons have oxidised markedly (we've had a humid summer). Wondering if there is anything in particular I can clean them with??? It's just the tops of them, the sides of the buttons appear fine. David

  • Re: Audio Delay

Hello All, This is interesting... I don't have exactly the same issue, but a similar one... I have a delay of sound in a link room when i use my BC6 as speakers to listen to NMUSIC, i.e it is just a fraction of a second behind what is playing in the main room, it is quite annoying. B&O's explanation was this is how link room is and nothing

  • Re: BM-Link now available for Snow Leopard

Hi Elephant.. Seems my beo 4 remote is configured differently.. V.MEM brings up the computer screen If i press exit (which i found by trial and error) once the computer screen is on, Front row appears.. I can then scroll through using the arrow keys. It would be good to talk with you about BM LINK- though presently it doesnt work properly on my set

Hello Elephant, Anders, et.al... After a year or more of my beoport not working properly I have success!!!!! I have purchased snow leopard, downloaded Anders' new BM Link 1.5.3 and itunes 9 and all works, just about flawlessly. I can switch between NRADIO and NMUSIC without difficulty, scroll through playlists, artist lists etc. All artist titles

  • Re: BV8-32 1080i ??

Hello There A few days ago i installed snow leopard and had to go through a similar process of checking the display options for my BV8-40 which is sometimes used as a monitor for my mac mini. I was confronted with the same choice and called B&O. They suggested resolution should be set to 1080p. In relation to refresh rate however only three options
