  • Re: My BS9000 is it sensitive to cold ? (strange for danish product)

A lot of people seem to have problems with BS9000. When we bought ours it was ex demo and was very dusty. After cleaning, and using for the first time, we had the same problem as you. Then it just seemed to stop happening after about 2 weeks of use. It is either caused by dust or some sort of sensor having too much light on it perhaps. Or maybe by the

  • Re: Beovision Avant 28 Picture Tube

Yes, we had to have our tube replaced in our 32" avant vhs after only about 3 years of use for the same price (about £500). What wen't wrong with these tubes !?!?. It seems to happen to so many people. It's shocking to think that B&O would go ahead and sell a product that was only ever going to last for several years. It undermines

  • Beovocal

Some of the extra categories people add to the Beovocal surveys are pretty funny. Does anybody else thing Beovocal is a bit silly to allow people to add their own categories to the surveys. Some of the people who add don't have very good English, as their suggestions don't even make sense. Also in the last survey, I'm pretty sure I managed

  • Re: Is 26" enough for everyday use?

Peter: It rather depends how far away it will be. There will be a 32" version later in the year. The screen size is supposed to be one third of the distance it is viewed from - though some prefer bigger screens these days. I tend to use another rule of thumb for screen distance (as recommended by our dealer and B&O who told them apparently

  • Re: Have a look at this. KOSS' take on B&O...

Yes I have the same problem with posting photos. I can't just copy and paste photos into my message, I can only put photos that are on the internet already by linking to them. Any ideas how to get round this?

  • Re: What is it that people like about the Serene?

jandyt: Brian Waddell: Hi, I think the serene in its present form will be around for years. It isn't meant to date, unlike other more 'modern' designs. It will be like bs9000 or bl8000 etc, which although ten years old are still 'special' Brian I agree, Brian. I paid £745 for mine as it had been on a rotating shop display for

  • Re: splendid!

Yea, you're right Toubro, would be fine if both tv and speakers are wall mounted, then it's ideal.
