They come up on ebay from time to time in the UK - but postage to Sweden could make it expensive. They usually go for around £80 -120 - or 100 to 150 Euro Brian

Sadly the correct B&O remote for the TV will not work the 5000. The only "crossover" would be the VHS91.2 which (should) work with the BM5000 as tape 2 or via the TV Scart cable and a Beolink 1000 (or the similar looking but earlier AV control). Brian

I made up my own cables from a 100m reel I bought off ebay and 8 pin din connectors available at Maplin. I should still have some cable left as 100m was more than I needed (Penta IIIs)! What length are you after? Brian

The mirrored panel at the bottom of the Beolink 7000 is no longer available from Bang and Olufsen (worth asking if someone here has one?) I was lucky to get one of the last when I had my 7000 serviced at the UK's B&O Repair Centre near Gloucester! I must update my AVATAR to reflect it- but it is so small I am not too concerned. Brian

I do not think that the manuals list the red to orange fault. This was showing up in one of mine which was repaired for me via Nobby. Brian

The amp I am using is a Beolink Passive. I bought it on ebay from an individual who is not (now?) gone from Ebay so I'm stuck with it ! I suspect that this may be the problem - a non working passive that someone sold for £££s knowing that it was not working. They can sell for £150++ which sadly is a lot for a non working
