Sorry if this has been discussed before. I have a beogram 5005 but the needle needs replacing in the pickup. The normal ebay / froogle searches don't come up with anything on the cheaper side of things. From what I gather the pickup cannot be repaired, is there a cheaper alternative to be able to play records again, maybe a different stylus model

Does anyone know if there is a way of connecting 2 powerlink cables together? I want to extend the length by 3 meters. The current cable has been buried behind a wall but want to move my beolab 4's further away? Thanks Dan

Thanks for the replies. I already have the wall brackets, but I agree the ceiling mounts are very appealing. I think I will place them quite high up on the back wall.

Does anyone know or have an opinion on the best height to position a pair of beolab 4 speakers when being used as rear speakers in a surround sound setup? We will need to walk past the wall so not sure if it matters if they are positioned quite high up so they don't get knocked, the floor to ceiling height is about 13 foot? Thanks

I have a BV7-40 MKII with 1st gen. Apple TV connected through DVI and use a BEO5 with no problems at all. BEO4 won't allow fast scrolling.
