• Re: Now when the war is over ...

The judder you are seeing isn't a fault with the Blu-ray discs. You need a player that can output a picture at 24 frames a second and A TV that can output such a signal. It's all to do with the original film having been shot at 24fps and your TV showing it at a different framerate It's all explained here: h ttp://www.hdtvuk.tv/2007/10/explained_what

  • Re: BeoCenter 6 in White!

Ignace: Very nice ! It's good to see that B&O is picking up the trend of white finish. Just as everyone else moves to Black and Metal...

  • Re: Beosound 9000 + Airport Express/AirTunes

  • Re: jeremy clarkson about danish design and B&O

Flappo The Grate: except he's far too smart and witty to be a politician ...and homophobic. He's certainly tedious and dreary enough to be a politician though, I'll give him that.

  • Re: Soundproof's Guide for using iPhone or iPod Touch as a remote!

Remote Buddy really is a remarkable bit of software and I wholeheartedly second soundproof's recommendations. I was flicking thourgh my iTunes library on my iPhone today and the music was coming out of my BL8000s and I was giggling to myself like an idiot. I feel like I've been transported into the future. Then I used the iPhone as a remote

  • Re: Have any UK beoworlders purchased an iphone?

I bought one on release day last week at Regent Street. I am as much an Apple fan as a B&O fan and I couldn't resist being there for the launch. A week later and the hype has died down but my enthusiasm for the iPhone hasn't. It's a stunning device. The user interface is a joy to use. The features are more then adequate, despite some

  • Beolab 3 - BANG! Help!

I was in bed yesterday having a quiet read with my BS4/BL3 combo on quietly in the background when suddenly there were several very loud bangs from the speakers. I nearly jumped out of skin. I quickly switched the system off thinking the system must have blown but I switched back on again and everything seemed to be fine. This morning, again, they seem

  • Re: OCTOBER PRIZE DRAW

Yes, I kept the BS1 in the end Henry. I decided in the end it would be a shame to get rid of it and having almost got rid of it I'm suddenly more appreciative of it. Funny how things turn out, eh? Did you get yours yet - are you enjoying it? I'll post some iPhone impressions over the weekend. Btw, the book is lovely. My pedantic eye has spotted
