There is a 5 pin DIN AUX/tape 2 input on the FRONT edge (you probably made the mistake of expecting it to be at the back with all the other connections - that would be far too sensible) which can be used to connect any other audio device to. Chances are you will also need a 5 pin DIN/RCA (phono) converter cable but these are readily available for not

Hmmm.... Are you using a phono/DIN adapter lead? It must be wired for output on pins 2,3 & 5 (2 = common ground, 3 & 5 are left & right channels) a lot of adapter leads are wired 1,2 & 4. Chris.

This is a generic motor which was used on all B&O Beogram decks of the 1800/2000/5000/RX derivatives of the mid 1980's up to the last of the tangential trackers. They do appear on ebay very occasionally when someone parts out a broken turntable. Chris.

The problem is more than likely to be a lack of RIAA phono preamp. The Beomaster 7000 does not have RIAA in the phono as it was fitted to the matching Beogram 7000 turntable instead. Is there very low sound when you turn the volume up? if so then it will be a RIAA problem - you can fit an external one between your turntable & the Beomaster. Chris

I need some help with testing a SP cartridge/stylus. After digging through a box of bits I found a SP10 body with coil assembly & a SP6/7 replacement stylus. I have transplanted the SP6/7 into the SP10 body but have no means of testing as I don't have a turntable which takes this cartridge type. Does anyone out there fancy road testing it for

Welcome to Beoworld. Both the upper & lower glass panels will be loose. They are held with 1mm thick double sided foam tape (6mm wide) - glazing or car trim suppliers should be able to get you some. To remove the panels along with the frames there is a phillips screw under the left hand corners of each panel, remove this & slide the whole assembly
