Can you spot any burned components ? In the amplifier and/or power supply ? Are you using correct speaker plugs ? Some owners use bare wires stuck into the speaker sockets and that is asking for trouble since the bare leads can easily short and that WILL blow the amplifier. Martin

Nidul, Hardly the right place for your post but thanks for bringing this embarrassing thread up. I am not sure how exactly I can help you. How much water did it get ? Was it clean water or something nasty ? Was it powered up while still wet ? Is it an insurance case ? Martin

If the tape binds when running, the motor current goes up and that will eventually trigger the protection circuit. Just as it would if the tape was jammed or had reached the end. Martin

There are only 2 channels, one left and one right. The left channel goes to two speaker sockets at the rear, the right channel to two other sockets. If one pair goes silent, the other pairs goes too as they are paralleled. What do you mean by "roasted" ? Martin

Good enough ? I am not talking about the shop demo CD's with different clips and types of music. The B&O test CD's are not sound CD's as such. Not made for enjoying specific music contents. They are test and alignment CD's for adjusting and testing sampling, fault correction, tracking, time counter etc of CD drives. It's a 2CD

Exactly ! A school example of tin whiskers. Not hard to imagine how wrong this can go electrically. Worth cleaning off the whole capacitor, I think. A vacuum cleaner and a brush, I suppose, could do it. Nice photos BTW. Martin
