I have a black shiny plastic LX6000 and used to have a rosewood one.

Debatable. I would agree that the 9300 is the sensible buy as it is essentially an Ouverture reboxed into a 9500 case with an amplifier. However the 9500 is the better specified machine. Better tape player, two way control and, again, debatable which has the better CD player. It is however more difficult to get fixed, though by no means impossible.

I can see no reason why it should be blocked - have you put the correct link in?

The A8s are Chinese as are the headsets. The Beocom 2 is certainly made in Denmark - I don't know about every other product ! B&O take quality Control very seriously though no matter the source of the product.

Many products are still made in Denmark though some are also made in Eastern Europe. Some of the entry products are made in China though all are designed in Denmark. They have gone from making almost everything themselves to using components from other companies but the electronic design will be Danish. They are one of the bigger anodisers of aluminium

No, you will still need an amplifier. You can use the DVD1 as a CD player with a suitable beomaster though connections will be interesting! Controlling it would also be a challenge!

I must confess to having a feeling of disquiet about too much information about new products being spilled. New product launches are a very important part of any company's armoury and are best done when only rumour exists. I think Apple are the real masters here - loads of usually inaccurate ramblings! I know we all are interested in what is coming
