Listening to some earlier Phoenix - all day long!

I can only confirm the 3000-2, 2x40w.

I'm definitely hooked for life on these babies. The only difference between my setup and the one in the picture, is the speaker - I have a pair of BeoLab 5000s!!!!! Yes BeoBoy, they are king. Tomaz, if you think these look fresh, have a look at a White BeoSystem 4500! Tod, they started producing them in 1988, I only know because mine were made that
-
Since they already launched a new pair of wall speakers, lets hope they re-launch this -
Yep, though only those hipster chicks; But it is an interesting thought that I, in theory, can pick up a girl with something as nerdy and outdated as a slide rule! Imagine if girls would have the same reaction to my valve guitar amplifiers
Hipster chicks - nevermind! Trust me, there is nothing cool
One of my old friends who is also 18 years old like me has become very interested in old-school stuff. She went nuts when I told her that I could use a slide rule and begged me to learn her how to make all arithmetic operations.
Wait a minute, so your telling me I can pick up chicks with math??!

Brilliant! Thank you very much! Those pieces look like they were made for each other or something. haha Those 1702s are bigger than I imagined Good luck with the cleaning!
-
I'll help - but I want pictures of your items in return! You have 2 of my favorite vintage (1202, 1702) items together! Once we get this up and running, I want to hear some thoughts on those speakers. Please! Ahem, anyway - My initial advice would be to clean the speaker switches - a common problem on old gear. Deoxit or some other contact cleaner
-
That looks like it would do a fine job. I can only fully recommend Rotel. They make products that are very hard to fault. If you can get one with a remote for that price I think you would be in for a good deal.
Having had a bit more of a read about it, is anyone else suprised that a run time of "up to 8 hours", is apparently halved when the wireless/streaming function is used??
I don't doubt it - Wifi is a thirsty beast. In the last months of my Android HTC phone, the wifi drained the battery so quickly
