Another Olde Worlde article this month in this excellent publication. This time extolling the virtues of the Beosystem 5000. A very well written article, most of which I agree with. Hi-Fi World is actually the only magazine I have a subscription for and it offers what I regard as good opinions with more articles on B&O than any other publication

You can, but it will only work in one way and this makes it an inferior Beolink 1000. I would suggest that the new Beo5 is quite a bit more useful.

I remember mine arriving and it is a big box! I doubt it would fit even in an E class and would strongly suggest that upright is the most sensible way. However the most important thing to take is someone else to help lift it!

I would contact Dillen on site - he can help with this sort of equipment. In the case of the 1900, he can also supply you with a capacitor kit - the red ones are worth replacing whilst the lid is off! Welcome to Beoworld.

Not sure they are that cheap!! Some people ask huge amounts! Quite large as well! But very pretty!

Lee often has some Beolab 4s in as well. Go and have an audition and a cup of coffee - I am sure he would love to see you!
