The cables normally supplied with the BL5's are approx 4-4.5mm thick and have a ferrite ring on either side of the powerlink connector. not sure if the are Mk2 or 3 (cant see them right now). however, the key is the ferrite

I can't see way thy should make a low end remote! the beo4 is the best and most simple remote out there, Bl1000 has been here for over 20 years but the button is better placed on beo4, so think beo4 is going to be the seconded remote another 10 years. just my opinion...

Beoport is a black box you connect to you PC and then to Master link. then it's possible to play all music you have on your PC over Master link and controlling it by BS9000. Also there is over 3600 radio stations from the web. I can't find anything saying it's not possible to upgrade mrk 1 to having N.Music??? BTW you buy it from your B&O
