Soundwise I prefer the Pentas, I like the display, but not the overall look - due to the copper/brown stripes. But I also think the Beolab 1 is not so good looking, sound is not as good. So I would stick with the Pentas (...even though I sold mine a while ago - the WAF was not hight enough...but that is another story...) Ralf

You will have digital sound (coax or optical are just two ways to "transport" the digital data). Ralf

Warum nicht die Boxen an den Avant und Deinen Mac an den Avant??? Der Avant hat ja mehrere digitale Eingänge (ich glaube zwei, falls das Dolby Digital Modul verbaut wurde. Dann braucht man kein DeToma... Ralf
