If I didn't have my vinyls packed up 130 km away, I'd play "Jungleland". Loud. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/19/arts/music/clarence-clemons-e-street-band-saxophonist-dies-at-69.html
I had similar thoughts, Mika. May the Big Man rest in peace.
Rich, you should open the deck again, and clean of all old grease and hardened oil, lubricate everything with a silicone oil/grease, it does wonder. For Strobo disc I use this one Which cartridge did you order ?
1) May do more work when I get my belts and the cartridge. 2) Have tried that disc, but

Since scoring a CDX from Jeff/Jaff/burantek I've been listening more and more to my CDs (not that I've stopped listening to vinyl or my iPod). Anyway, $5
Going forward, I do need to refoam one of my S45-2s, the surround is actually torn in one spot. It may have been there since before I bought them but I woudn't be suprised if I caused it! I've been eyeing some Fostex caps to overhaul them with....
Post a picture of the damage. You may be able to repair

I missed that project then! Must've been while I was AWOL from last October through February or so.
The complete college setup; the T-120s, Yamaha R-7, Magnavox CD player and even his Audio Technica ATH-3s. He walked in to an amzing suprise and is still thrilled! Pretty sure you
