I agree with you! The A9 is not the most useful device made by B&O!! It is quite tactile though and is a nice keyring. I have not used mine as a remote for years - not even sure the betteries work - but is a nice keyring!!

You can, but remember that Speaker 1 can mute and Speaker two doesn't on some models.

Sounds like there is a fault in the power amplifiers but that the pre-amplifier is working fine. Will need servicing - which 2000? I have the older service manual on site though I imagine your in the newer aluminium and touch sensitive one.

The central adapter has a lip on it which fits the large hole. It does not go all the way through so it will still weigh the record.

Did you know that when the Beo5 is configured to your set up, it also works out the option setting for your system and will update this automatically rather than you having to manually set the options? Now that is clever.

Thinking off the top of my head, what about getting a Beosystem 2 video processor which can probably link to the 5500 (if you are lucky!) through a 1611 Beolink converter and this will allow you to work your projector and also, if you have the right DVD players, use a DVD controller which will allow control elsewhere. The Beosystem 2 is no longer cutting
