You have to have the Beolink 1000 to store settings. I have not had an MX1500 but at a guess, get to the programme you want then press Store, the number of the channel and then Store again. I am sure if wrong, Neil can correct me.

The Beosound 1 is designed as a movable speaker with built in sources. Very flexible. It is however a portable CD radio with relatively small speakers. This is fine for a small room and background music. If your room is bigger, why not consider something pre-owned? A Beosound 3000 or Ouverture with some Beolab 4000 speakers will be able to become a

David: I'm sorry, i'm the worst Beoworlder of all. half our B&O equipment is actually from ebay and i feel bad about that every day, because our dealer is so amazing. Only half? The vast majority of mine came from other sources than dealers!! I know I have bought quite a bit of equipment from my dealers as well but I get just as much pleasure

No problem at all! The M150 was designed to go with the 6000.Well up to it. My MS150s are being used with a 7000 sounding good and a 6000 has more power than that. If you have the space and like more bass, consider M75/M100s (from an earlier period just) or M150/MS150 which are the finest passive speakers B&O made. They may well need some work on them but if they do, they should be cheap! I got my MS150s which

It might be possible to use it in the place of the 3000 - you will need a 1611 if attached to a TV - and then have the 3000 in another room as a slave. Do you have a B&O TV?

Should be OK with region setting unless he plans to use two different regions, which coming from Holland and living in the US might well be the case. It is possible to solve this a variety of ways - hardware and, I believe, software. Does seem like quite hard work though. The US BV7 somehow seems quite attractive!

I imagine that he will be using either a cable box or some sort of STB.

Tim is indeed a superb engineer and a good friend. He has fixed countless bits for me and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I'll not quibble about a watt Keith! I think you and I are probably thinking along the same lines!
