I take it that the FM aerial is elsewhere. I know you can get FM/TV aerial splitters and I wonder if you can do something similar here. I use a BC2 with DAB and the internal aerial supplied actually is pretty good - much to my surprise! However it is situated near the switch panel well away from the head unit so I clearly had rather more lee way in

DVB-T is standard - the price will be slightly higher to reflect this. Are we not going to complain about the DVD player not being Blu-ray?

I have compared MS150s driven by an 8000 against Beolab Pentas and the Pentas sounded better. BUT I feel the 8000 needs a service! I'll have another go this week end but I will use my 4400 to drive the M100s.

We auditioned Penta 3s against the M100s driven by a BM5500 ( not the ideal amplifier) and the M100s triumphed in my view. Down to bass drivers - a good big one beats a number of good small ones. But John does have a point - the M series are not discrete!!

Seems to be a faulty CD5500. Mine works as it should. The display is limited compared to a CD50 but the MCP shows all sorts of information. Sound quality is far better than the CD50 in my opinion.

Agree. the problem we have is that B&O products are designed to last for years and perform at near to the top of the market. For this they ask a premium price. The audio range manages that because the prevailing technology, CD, is stable and therefore even the first models still perform well. Plasma and LCD are still improving and an early BV6 would
