On that note, I attach a photo of the capacitors removed from my M100s!

Not bad if mounted properly. I would suggest changing the capacitors in the cross over if they sound dull - works wonders.

I wonder if it an earth issue. Try earthing the aerial feed.

....mr anders(son): Ofcourse I must comment this I had BV5 before my BV7-40 and now I have BV9 And that because I miss my BV5, but BV5 was outdated when it comes to connections I thought BV5 was the most beautiful TV in the world and still is BUT BV9 has drivin by and made it complete. BV9 is more proportional designed. Screen is 2/3 of the whole set

francoisvl: The Lasers on the 9000 have started to give problems and there are no replacements. So if you can't fix it then you're stuck with a unit that can no longer play cd's. 4500 hasn't been giving any laser problems that I know of. The Grundig looks daft - imagining watching something like Die Hard surrounded by flowers! The white Loewe with the pattern falls into the same trap IMHO of having too specific a theme. I don't personally like the red one but I don't like red BV7s either. In black or silver , this could work. I take it that the squashed bee hive is a speaker

I am afraid fakes get better all the time. The colour of the writing and the end caps will change. Buying second hand means you cannot be sure. Why does the seller have two pairs he is selling? A picture is simply not enough to tell. I wouldn't buy them but they are cheap. The fakes are not bad earphones - but they are not A8s.
