• Re: Clueless B&O virgin, how to connect BEOLAB 4500 speakers?

Since the late 80's PowerLink is beeing used as B&O standard connecton to connect active speakers like the BLb 4500 to B&O Audio and TVs. This gives you freedom of choice to go for new equipment e.g. BeoSound 4 or a variety of pre-owned audio and/or TV equipment. PS - wish I did not sell mine ...

  • Re: BeoCenter 2 line out : anyone managed to make it work??

The purpose af all these RCA/Cinch sockets at the DVD version is offering an alternative way to connect to a TV/Surround Sound Amp - for those markets (e.g. US) where SCART is not used. There exist(ed) two versions of BC2 : a "full" DVD/CD + Radio version and an "Audio Only" CD + Radio version (BC2 AU) ("Audio Only" is
Sometimes I wonder why B&O work so hard when they think about the user interface, because eventually you would like it to be on at all times..
*g* ... reading the user guide somtimes helps ... BeoCenter 2 Guide – Socket Unit - page 7 Audio/Video connection without a 21-pin AV cable … If

  • Re: Question re MX4000
As long as it is not a very early one (pre Beo4 model) the answer is yes. However finding a STB-C will be tricky as B&O no longer supply this model.
If it is a DVB-T/S SetTopBox you want to use - there is an other possibility. A DVB-T/S receiver with build in code converter - connected to AV1 or AV2 (beeing

  • Re: BV 8-40 & 10-40/46 - Build 127 offers AV6
What about the clouding issue? Did you noticed any difference?
Honestly speaking - didn't care about - my room is quite bright - so clouding never has been that big issue for me. Read in an other tread that matters improved a lot since the previous build (126) - addendum: other features of build 127 - already

  • Re: Beogram TX2
Hello, I have this old (around 1985) turntable and want to play records using a new Onkyo amplifier. The amp doesn't come with a phono preamp. Does anyone know what I can use?
You'll need an external "Phono Preamp" connected to a line level input of your amp (Aux /Tape / Tuner /...) Good

  • Re: Beolink Passive and Powerlink
The BV7 only has a Beolab 7-2 connected at the moment. I thought I could connect a couple of passive speakers via a powerlink to the beolink passive to function as rear speakers. If I was outside I could then move these speakers out an have audio from the BM5 (connected to the Beolink passive by ML). I am trying to
