Since the late 80's PowerLink is beeing used as B&O standard connecton to connect active speakers like the BLb 4500 to B&O Audio and TVs. This gives you freedom of choice to go for new equipment e.g. BeoSound 4 or a variety of pre-owned audio and/or TV equipment. PS - wish I did not sell mine ...
