    plexiglas, acrylic glass ... I would guess it takes a steady hand and perhaps tools like razer saws and files to make small objects...

    You do have super ice rinks in holland. I use to be a speed skater and went over to participate in the friesland(?) cup in the early 90's. We were amazed by the first ice rink we saw that had an extra pratice track round the main rinks perimeter, but that was before we went to visit a 400m track And the fact you can hire proper speed skates!!! You

    I think I agree, the reflective surface seems to catch a lot of stray light and distract, where as the sides help the speaker blend in I think. I am sure B&O went through this connundrum! However it is personal choice of course! I think Leslie done a good job it is neat!

    I would like to do something similar to one of my less than perfect examples Peter! The real trick would be to work out a solution for the platter! I am thinking about it.... @Telecine well done so far. Lets get that pulley sorted before moving on. There could still be a split that might only become evident when screwing it to the shaft btw.     Very glad to hear it :) Did you place the cork between plastic casing for the motor and chassis or between motor and casing? Might try that myself!
