You know what, it might just be a static discharge... Is this harmful to the speakers and how can I solve this? AFAIK MK3 cables are the one to use instead of MK2...

Oops I forgot to mention. They are connected to a Beomaster 7000 and I use Mk3 cables.

I have owned Beolab 3's for a few years and sadly they have developed a problem. Every once in a while I hear a loud tick which is quite disturbing... Any ideas?
