I must say I like BeoLab 10 more than the new BV4 (never liked curved style, so I also prefer BV5 to BV9). The irony is that now not a single BeoLab matches the width of BV4 or BV7! I would have preferred B&O to release an all in one speaker like the Yamaha YST system, it had very good reviews and was simply rebadged by Loewe for their video systems

Sorry, but I think BeoPort should be set to option 0 (because no IR eye is connected to it), so all controls will come from BeoSound 4. Indeed all speaker connections should be made on BS4 , if you decide to use BeoPort in another room, then you can always buy a longer Masterlink cable and have a second room with B&O sound through your BeoPort!

I bought the Jensen T80 phone! I had bought a BeoCom 4 for my office and was a bit disappointed by its lack of some features and also because I was the only one at the office who could use it...yes, B&O language doesn't seem logical to many people! So when I wanted a phone for home, I decided to get the Jensen one, I already had the T3 model

Finally flat speakers for a BeoVision! I like the design, maybe you could have added a status display below the screen, like on BC1 (still don't understand the vertical display on BV7!). Where can I buy it?

The product page for BeoLab 4000 (with ICE amps) still hasn't been updated, so the new BV4 might be updated...next year? There hasn' t even been a press release in the PR section.

Hi, having had both, I would say they are completely different : - sound is good on both, but F2 will provide more bass with a much shorter treble range, it sounds like older generation BeoLabs whereas the A8s sound more "modern" with a brighter top end; - design is also old vs. new ; - ease of use depends on what you use them for: for travelling
-
The only head unit designed by B&O was a prototype that never came into production...
-
Personnally, I prefer BeoLab 8000 to BeoLab 1, I listened to them a couple of times in the same setups, and can't accept to pay such a high price for the sound of BeoLab 1, that I find extremely cold, metallic and surgical, with almost no bass despite the same amplifiers as in BeoLab 9. I find BeoLab 8000 much warmer and as powerful at normal listening

I think what they mean by "going back to quality audio & video" is: do "real" B&O products again, not rebadged stuff like DVD2, BeoSound 6, or products bearing 2 company logos (see what I mean?). Still, I feel sorry that TBS was fired, you always need a scapegoat when things go wrong, he had to be the one..But on the other

And you thought B&O was expensive... I also would say that BeoLab 5 is the only one that's quite easy to clean...the other speakers require a full -time staff!
