It would have to be connected to one of the "front" powerlink sockets on the TV. This is not going to be fun to use. You'll have to make sure your TV is in speaker2 mode, but that cuts the sound from the BV3's speakers. Speaker 3 activates stereo sound for the Beolab connected to the TV, but makes the sound from the TV's speakers

i didn't know you could view HD content on a CRT! i had a hd set top box with our bv3 and the HD channels were patchy... but i would love to access HD content because there are extra channels!

i was also going to recommend bl4000's. Excellent speakers to price ratio.
