Martin can supply belts for these Beocords. I have an 8004 that he fixed up for me and it's great. The motor should start spinning as soon as it is out of standby, but should stop when the unit is switched to standby.

Thanks Andy Always wanted this system, and seeing and hearing yours a couple of years ago just made me want one even more :) Still looking for the Lab 5000 if anyone has one lurking somewhere!?

Right - thanks to Nigel's eBay prowess I now have a Beomaster 5000!!! All I need now is a Beolab 5000 amp. Preferably working, but not essential. Am in UK :)
