also , one thing i found out about the wii , and it could be a hassle to a potential buyer it has a virtual console feature that allows you to buy retro games to pay on your console - the games aren't the problem, some of them are incredibly god fun and remind you of the days when gameplay not graphics mattered the problem is when you try selling

i have all 3 and for my money the ps3 is miles ahead of the wii and the 360 , the wii probably a vague second as it reminds me of a mac with it's user friendliness and simply think different attitude , just a shame nintendo missed the boat on the hd display bit , the pic , even via component is terrible on any hd display i've ever seen the 360

one thing i hate about leopard is the search / spotlight and the way it displays results eg ; do a search for items larger than say 100 megs , the results aren't viewable by size !! basically you can search for things but are very limited as to what criteria you can sort them by not impressed at all by this tbh

so can you control your tv / hifi / video with this then ? i thought the ipod touch didnt have infra red , how does it all work ?

the thing i love aboot the avant is it's staggering picture quality . last week some friends came over and said 'oh so you've got high definition tv , what's it like ?' nuff said :)

give me a beosystem 8000 any day over the current stuff ! the receiver still looks like it came from the bridge of the enterprise - amazing stuff although i do think the bv9 and bl5 are pretty stunning bits of kit and will be future design classics up there with beogram 4004 ( ok , maybe that's pushing it ! :) )

one can only imagine what a low bit rate dtv channel looks like on a 30" ACD !!! i know channel 5 is rubbish , but that's rubbing it in - surely :)

i don't think it's so much aboot being poor as not enjoying being ripped off adobe are a lot like microsuck in that they fleece their users with 'upgrades' that don't actually add much to the product , ironically quark used to be the same way until indesign kicked their butts basically , corporate complacency = customer complaints

apparently BT are blocking rapidshare and giving all the bandwidth to their vod and voip services , plus rapidshare have messed up by selling too many premium slots and having crappy old unreliable servers !!!! i found a way round it - totally legal so don't worry aboot anything , it was posted on a uk adsl site a few days ago just put this prefix
