It's been a full 7 years since i last had some BeoLab 5's at home - but recently i thought i'd treat myself.. They replaced a pair of BeoLab 9's - which i was perfectly happy with (make no mistake!), and i set about re-running Steve at Soundsheavenly's new Gold Standard cables under the carpets last night. Big job, lot of carpet

Good Lord - is the Retail Price really £130 for these now? Thanks for the link Chris. £85 is the right money in my opinion.. Lee

As far as i'm aware, the screen is 720p and using the DVI input as PC will give you 720p HD resolution. That being the case, you don't need a HD Kit? Correct me if i'm wrong though - i've heard conflicting reports, but that's always been my answer! Lee
Looks great. So you haven't renamed it Silver Aardvark yet then?
WOW !! - I never actually forgot that name.. i still like it !! Lee
Looks good though this item will be confusing to readers - looks like a screen from the heading when in fact it is a speaker
Deleted. By the way, if anyone is uncomfortable with this thread and feels it's unfair to other resellers or can be construed as advertising then please say - i will pull it immediately

It'll probably be mentioned at some point, but Firebrand have just completed a moderately discrete 'facelift' on the LifeStyle AV Website . I'd be interested to hear any feedback, as BeoWorld Members can be harsh critics - which isn't a bad thing. Even though the new-look site was launched last night i'm making an appointment

Problem reported to Gandalf, aka Keith - our Web Wizard. What we'd do without him makes me shudder to think.. He's away on business at present, but rest assured knowing Keith - it'll be looked into whilst eating a sandwich, juggling paperwork, making a coffee, shuffling paperwork, writing programs - all whilst driving down the M1.
